As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, you'll join our small but growing development team and play a pivotal role not only in the maintenance and enhancement of our current product offering, but also in the design and development of our next generation platforms. Job Responsibilities

  • Understanding the end-to-end operations of our current product offering.
  • Working closely with the Senior team, and the Product and UX teams.
  • Helping design and build the MVP and strategizing for the future.
  • Staying close to all engineering decisions from infrastructure to front-end.
  • Helping us build out the engineering team and assisting with recruiting as needed.
  • Support the Architect with the technical design for key areas of the software.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years full-stack development experience in commercial software engineering roles.
  • A desire to always be learning and helping others learn.
  • Excellent communication with honesty and transparency.
  • Experience designing REST APIs.
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as: Puppeteer and/or Selenium.
  • Experience with relational database systems and SQL.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience with project managements tools, JIRA etc./project documentation.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience of CI/CD pipelines.

    Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of our tech stack or be willing to learn:

    • Node.js, Angular 12+.
    • Microservices.
    • Event Driven Architecture.
    • Microservices.
    • Python.
    • MSSQL.
    • AWS [RDS, Lambda, SQS, ECS, API Gateway, EventBridge].
    • AWS CDK Infrastructure/Pipelines As Code.
    • Dependency Injection.
    • Working to S.O.L.I.D. principles.
    • Object Oriented Programming.
    • Unit Testing.

    Nice to haves:

    • NestJS or similar server side frameworks experience
